Jamie Stewart

Owner & Tumbling Director

Hi, I’m Jamie Stewart! I have been a tumbling instructor and the owner of LCTD for over 20 years; starting this journey as a 17 year old junior in high school. I truly love what I do and grew up over the years as I navigated the ends and outs of running a business while finishing high school, graduating college, and starting a family. Tumbling has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I feel incredibly blessed to have built a career doing something I am so passionate about.

Outside of the gym, my greatest joy is my family. I have been married to my husband, Adam, for 14 years, and together we have two amazing kids, Carin and Lex. Carin is 16 years old and grew up tumbling, cheering and dancing at LCTD and other competitive cheer gyms. She competed in cheer for 12 years, so watching her grow and develop through the sport has been such a special part of our journey together. Lex is 12 years old and is our busy little athlete who loves a little bit of everything, including baseball, basketball, and track. He is also an avid reader and a total bookworm.

When we aren't at the gym or running from one sporting event to another, we love spending time together as a family. We are big camping fans and love traveling and exploring different parts of the country. I am so thankful for my family, my gym family, and all the amazing people and memories that have been a part of this journey over the past 20+ years!

Marissa Roark

Dance Director

Hi! My name is Marissa and I am the Dance Director at LCTD. Growing up, I was involved in multiple sports: dance, cheer, tumbling, & softball. However, dance has always been a very special part of my life.

I have 15+ years of dance experience in a variety of genres, in addition to 3 years of competition dance, and 8 years of cheer. I have now been teaching at LCTD for 10+ years in dance with 6 of those years including competitive dance. My absolute favorite thing about teaching is providing a space where kids feel encouraged to learn and grow while maintaining a positive environment for them to have fun. I enjoy picking out/designing costumes, working on concepts for routines, & organizing all things recital!

If I am not at the studio, you can find me spending time with my family & three dogs, working as a nurse in an OBGYN clinic, or reading a good book. Being part of the LCTD family has been a big part of my life and I will be forever thankful for all the students I have had the opportunity to teach throughout these past 10 years!

Carin Pedigo

Tumbling Manager & Secretary

Hi! My name is Carin, and I’m 16 years old. I’ve been tumbling for 15 years and have basically grown up in the gym because my mom owns it, so the gym has always been a huge part of my life! I did competitive cheer for 12 years and have competed at the highest level of cheerleading, including being part of a Worlds team for 3 years. I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the country for cheer, compete in many different competitions, and win numerous titles along the way. Including One Summit Finals win, one podium finish at the Summit Finals, One Allstar Worlds podium finish, 5 COA wins, 7 Jamfest Nationals wins, 8 US Finals wins, 1 overall across the country US Finals win, and many more. My biggest accomplishments has been competing at The Cheerleading Worlds and making it to finals!

Along with cheer and tumbling, I've also danced for 9 years and competed dance for 2 years. Being involved in so many different areas of the sport has taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, teamwork, and pushing through challenges, and I’m excited to pass those lessons on to my athletes.

Right now, I’m working through a back injury, so you’ll see me doing lots of instructing and computer work, but I won’t be doing any spotting while I recover. Even though I can’t be as hands-on as I normally would be, I’m still super excited to coach, help athletes reach their goals, and share my love and experience with the sport!

Brittni Potts

Dance Instructor

Hi! My name is Brittni! I am a dance instructor at LCTD and this will be my 4th year teaching dance. I have 14+ years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, and performing on a college dance team. In addition to dance, I also have 8 years of cheer experience.

I have been married to my husband, Blake, for 13 years, and we have two beautiful girls. One of my favorite things is getting to watch them grow and discover their own love for dance.

I am thankful to be able to share my love for dance as a teacher and will always be excited for the opportunity to inspire and encourage young dancers at LCTD!

Ailey Walker

Tumbling Instructor

Hi! My name is Ailey, and I’m 17 years old. I’m a senior in high school, and I coach tumbling while also participating in cheer, which I really enjoy! I’ve been involved in cheer since I was little and have been a high school cheerleader all four years of high school. I’ve also done competition tumbling, which has given me experience with learning and perfecting different skills. I love being able to help others improve while continuing to do something I’m passionate about. Coaching is so rewarding to me because I get to watch athletes learn new skills, gain confidence, and reach their goals. I always want my athletes to feel encouraged, supported, and comfortable while they’re learning.

Outside of the gym, I work at Ginger Ale’s and love spending time with my friends, family, and my boyfriend, Hudson. A fun fact about me is that I’m left-handed! I’m so excited to get to know everyone and help each athlete become the best they can be!

Jaylee Shick

Dance Instructor

My name is Jaylee Shick, and I’ve been a dance teacher since 2022.

I started dancing when I was 3 years old, so it has always been a big part of my life. I participated in color guard when I was in middle school and high school, and I was team captain for a few years as well.

In addition to dance, I am a huge theater nerd, so I’ve been in a few live musicals with the Arts Council. Every year, I have the opportunity to teach dance to young kids for LCAC's annual Kids Theater Week.

I live with my mom, my two younger brothers, and my dog. I’m also very close with my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and my two little cousins. Teaching here at LCTD has been such a blessing, and I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to teach these amazing dancers!
